Gerry Gora -President
Gerry started by working for Consumers Energy in Michigan for three years. He received a Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Detroit, with a Major in Statistics and English. Afterwards, he spent a period of time as a corporate stock broker with Merrill Lynch. Later, he owned an entrepreneurial vending business in Michigan for five years, ultimately becoming a real estate broker specializing in business opportunities and business real estate.
In 1998, he established EnerCom and became the number one sales agent for a number of competitive energy suppliers in the State of Michigan. In 2006, EnerCom entered the electricity and natural gas market in Illinois, followed shortly by electricity and natural gas in Ohio, then into the Pennsylvania market for electricity and natural gas, and finally embarked into Maryland’s and New Jersey’s electricity and natural gas markets. EnerCom continues to explore expansion into other electricity and natural gas markets.
Jim Williams – Assistant Sales Manager
Jim is a seasoned sales veteran with a proven track record of success in a wide variety of commodities. Having spent 6 years as a District Manager for Home Depot, Jim is adept at guiding his fellow employees and sales people towards success. During his time at Home Depot, each of Jim’s 14 stores maintained top rankings for sales volume distribution. In 2006, Jim joined the EnerCom team as an Energy Choice Savings Agent and quickly found his spot at the top. He has spent many years as a Senior Agent, helping to mentor his fellow agents in numerous energy markets. Jim is currently functioning as an Assistant Sales Manager to EnerCom’s President, Gerry Gora.
